Rules:

- No Double Posting: I've been told I'm to rule crazy about this, but if must say something after you just made a post, just edit your post. When you post something when nobody else has posted after you said something, I see you as cheating to get up higher in the ranking system.

- Stay on Topic: Please stay on topic in the category's that your posting in. If your a person that tends to get off topic alot, I'd advise you to stay in the "General Chat" section of the forum.

- No Pornography: Plain and simple, I will ban you immediately for this!

- No Flaming: Do not try to start fights on the forum. If a fight gets out of hand, I may ban you.

- No Spamming: Spamming just gets really annoying. If you continue to spam purposely to get on someone's nerves, I may ban you.

- Dead Topics: If a topic gets old and nobody is posting on it, I will lock and or delete it. It only depends if your giving the topic my variety or not. Topics have a limit of 3-4 weeks for this.

Warnings:
As far as warnings go, I will give you a certain amount of warnings for when you break the rules. My limit right now is 5. I will let you all off the hook a few times if you break a rule, but if you continue to do it, that's when I'll give you a warning. Warnings will look like this on your post:
Warning 1, No doing "so and so" - mariofanatic166
Also, at this point, everyone on the forum who has had warning *before May 10th, 2008* I have reset your warnings. You have none now.

- Have Fun! Smile

Hey i got an idea of an new rule:

If a topic get old and the last post is dating from 3 weeks (Or more) can we delete or lock it? With this we could avoid ''dead topics'' like i call them.

but what about when you need to let people know there is new content in a thread? can you adjust the settings so that when a person edits their post, it reflects with the updated date/time? otherwise, without actually LOOKING at the post directly, if you are just surfing the main area, then it looks like there is no new content. and someone can be editing their post, but no one will know.

also- with the staying on topic thing. what does that mean exactly? if you are in general chat, talking about general things in a thread, but it sparks conversation that talks about something other than what was originally being discussed, is that being "off topic"? just as an observation- because I have been a member of many sites- certain forums have strict staying on topic guidelines- like gaming codes or tournaments or things like that. but in the general chat areas, its relaxed. because it helps to prevent dead threads, if people are not afraid to post.

First-if you want people to see youre last ''edited'' post then just delete youre last post and make a new one and it will not be counted for a double post. If youre last post is important then just copy/past it on youre new post after you have deleted this one. This way people will see the ''red text'' on the main page.

Second-The staying on topic rule is just to prevent people to talk about his socks in a Brawl topic for instance. As long has the conversation turn around the main subject of the topic then its ok.
