Super Smash Brothers 99Minute Timed Round

About five years ago during April vacation in 2003 my best friend came over. Before my basement got finished, our upstairs guestroom was my gameroom. I had my PS2, Xbox, N64 and all my old school setups around the room (3 TVs, 1 for the current gen stuff and then 1 for NES and 1 for Sega) as well as my comp. Anyways, my friend brought his sleeping bag and I slept on our futon. We rented Wolfenstein from Blockbuster and it was alot of fun, but we literally played thru the entire game within a few hours and got bored. My friend pointed to my N64 and said "dude, lets play smash bros". We then did a timed round of the maximum amount of time, 99:00 minutes, and it was one of the funniest/weirdest gaming experiences. We were so tired and shot that we would just say the most random stuff about things. We did it on Hyrule with me and him on a team battle vs a lvl 9 kirby and a lvl 9 falcon (not tough at all, I know xD) but we were just having so much fun. The funny thing was my N64 froze when my friends foot nudged it at the 33:00 minute mark, so we had to do it all over again, but we did it! We successfully did a full 99:00 minute timed SSB game. So much fun!

Wow... I'd get too bored doing a 99 minute round.

I should do that sometime, but I'd rather do it with a group of friends.

Its the best with friends. I'd never be able to last just by myself. Thats why I like alot of the N64 classics (entirely excluding the Wii) in terms of multiplayer fun. Goldeneye, MarioKart, SSB, even Mario Tennis are awesome because you can just jump right in and have fun!
